Swimming Pool Construction Process
Mayan Pools will meet with you and your family on-site to observe the property, the access and any site restrictions or constraints that may need to be accounted for.
Working closely with you to achieve your perfect design to fit you and your family, Mayan Pools will put together some design examples for you to choose from and tailor to your backyard before the swimming pool construction begins.
Typically a survey and site plan will then be performed for submission to the local building department for review.
Once the site plan is approved, and we receive the permit, Mayan Pools will get started on the excavation and and pre-grading or tree removal.
Then we will form, steel and plumb your pool according to our detailed plans.
Next, the shotcrete is pneumatically applied onto the rebar cage and hand troweled to finish specifications.
Then the tile and coping are installed.
After that, the equipment and fencing are set.
Then the plaster is installed.
Once your pool is full, Mayan Pools will come out and call for a final inspection for your certificate of occupancy and will provide pool school.
